Shake-Spear By Francis Bacon
We all Learn at school that one William Shakespear from Stradford wrote all the work we now know as the work of a genius. But about the role of Francis Bacon in this scheme to upgrade the English language you hardly read anything.
He had a scriptorium of writers working for him, translating and writing all sorts of works. From the classics to (than) modern playwrite, suddenly there was a world of English Literature.
And thanks to Francis Bacon and 'The Knights of the Helmet' we have a lot of information.
The helmet they refer to is the helmet of Athena, who shook her spear in the eyes of ignorance.
